I’m Laura Levites, a producer, writer, entrepreneur, proud Lake Worth Beach resident, and dog mom to Rocky and Racer.

Born in New York City and raised between New York and Florida, I earned my BFA from NYU. I’ve worked at Comedy Central, produced theatre in Scotland, and performed at Radio City Music Hall.

I’ve always been drawn to interesting people and places. I don’t trust places that are too polished, people who take themselves too seriously, or cities that all look the same. From the moment I discovered Lake Worth Beach, I knew I fit right in. It’s a city with personality, and that’s worth protecting.

Two years ago, I ran for the Florida State House because I wanted to help make Florida a kinder place. That experience inspired me to take a closer look at how my own city works. Since then, I’ve regularly attended Lake Worth Beach City Commission and CRA meetings and completed the Citizens Municipal Institute.

As a producer, I’ve spent much of my career turning ideas into reality-seeing the big picture managing the details, bringing people together and finding ways to get things done. I’d like to bring that same approach to the City Commission.

I want Lake Worth Beach to remain a place where individuality is celebrated, everyone feels welcome, and our community can thrive. I’d like to help Lake Worth Beach become the best version of itself.
